Beginning July 1, 2024, the UNC-Chapel Hill community will be eligible for a free GoPass for GoTriangle bus routes. This includes all University faculty, staff, students and affiliates and UNC Hospital employees with an active UNC-Chapel Hill email. Previously, free GoPasses were limited to University riders who do not have an on-campus daytime parking permit and live outside the Chapel Hill Transit service area.
