TimeTrex
This module is designed to educate Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on TimeTrex and how to most accurately document work time. TimeTrex is a tool developed and used by UNC Hospitals to accurately calculate reimbursement for Part A activities. Part A activities are reported to CMS on UNC Hospitals’ cost reports and contribute to the calculated labor hours for UNC Hospitals. TimeTrex time sheets help the hospital get the appropriate CMS reimbursement for claims. Users have a very important role in the TimeTrex process. Accurately capturing work time is vital in order to report accurate labor hours. To accurately complete TimeTrex, users need to understand how they spend their time and what information the time study is capturing.
