BSL2+ Laboratory Research
Welcome to the UNC-Chapel Hill EHS BSL-2+ and BBP online training. This course is tailored for laboratorians who work at BSL-2 with enhanced precautions and satisfies the requirements for annual BBP training outlined in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) BBP Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1030.
This course will discuss:
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Blood and Other Potentially Infectious Materials
- OSHA Work Controls
- BSL-2+ Laboratories
- Exposure Incident Response and Reporting
- Biohazardous Waste
- Emergency Procedures
